At the end of 2023, during a crucial and delicate moment in her life, Yvonne was forced to stop her usual sports practice due to a uterine surgery that prevented her from engaging in high-intensity or high-impact physical exertion. It was during this medical hiatus that, upon a
coworker’s recommendation, she decided to try the Navakaraṇa method at a ma·na event in Poblenou (Barcelona), where she met the teacher Mariana Moura. Despite not understanding anything initially, Yvonne fell completely in love with the experience: the space, the instruction, the music, the teacher’s voice, and the energy generated immediately captivated her, prompting her to purchase an 8-session pass. During this period, she experienced a deeply healing and unforgettable moment at a new moon event with Bella Borges. After a practice that had a massive impact on her (dvikapādakapota), Yvonne burst into tears during the subsequent sound bath, an experience that culminated when Bella placed a quartz bowl on her abdomen so she could feel the vibration.

This profound emotional and physical connection led her to want to understand and delve much deeper into this method, as she felt that each session and each teacher (Mariana, Julia, Brendan, and Alessandra) brought her teachings that were directly connected to her own life. For this reason, in February 2024, she decided to purchase the unlimited pass.
In 2026, at 38 years old, Yvonne considers discovering Navakaraṇa to be one of the best experiences of her life. Her practice has brought about a radical and transformative turning point in her day-to-day life, completely changing her way of thinking, eating, speaking, and expressing herself. Currently, she continues to enjoy and deepen this beautiful life path at Bronsa (the studio she has chosen) guided by Andrea, Marta, and Alba. She completed Navakaraṇa Vinyāsa Hṛdayam Alumni Teacher Training with Andrea and Marta and is graduated by Dario Calvaruso in 2026.
