Monica Abella Villares

Monica found Navakaraṇa by chance, although she believes less and less in coincidences.
She came into her life at a time when she needed to slow down, listen to herself and feel good about herself, and since then something has changed inside her.

For the past two years, she has practiced Navakaranṇ at Nidia Diaz’s studio, and she believes that Nidia Diaz made her love this practice thanks to her dedication, her professionalism, and the very special way she has of transmitting the method.

In 2026, she completed Navakaraņa Vinyāsa Hŗdayam Alumni Teacher Training Grounding & Opening (Module 1)  with Nidia Díaz and is graduated by Dario Calvaruso.

For her, it is not just exercise; it is a way of life, a way to find peace and connect with herself. She wants to continue exploring this path and train as a teacher because she feels that Navakaraṇa is now a permanent part of her life.
