Miriam Higueras

Míriam Higueras is a full-time Navakaraṇa Vinyāsa teacher and runs her Navakaraṇa studio in Barcelona, close to Sagrada Familia, called Figa Yoga Studio.

She studied Art History and Marketing. After finishing her studies she tried out different sports and discovered yoga in 2016. She practiced it sporadically for a year and a half, and got to know different styles and teachers. By chance, in 2018 she decided to try Alessandra’s class, and from the first moment on she clearly felt that it was what she was looking for. In that first class she experienced unique sensations, through instructions and sound she could deeply connect with her mind and her body.

In 2020, she met Dario Calvaruso and in the same summer she joined his Navakaraṇa Teacher Training. By the end of summer 2022 she completed all 4 Modules. During her training, Míriam started to teach part-time sharing her knowledge in regular classes and workshops in different places around Barcelona.

Finally, in 2023 she decided to leave her corporate job and to open FIGA YOGA STUDIO. Míriam feels lucky to have the opportunity to learn directly from Dario, to open her studio with a team of three Navakaraṇa teachers and to see the Navakaraṇa community growing.
