MARTA GÓMEZ JIMÉNEZ

Marta lives in Toledo, she is a passionate student and teacher of Navakaraṇa Vinyāsa. She currently combines with teaching Navakaraṇa classes in Toledo with she works at an accounting and management company. Working in an office always involves bad posture, back pain and a sedentary lifestyle in many cases, and this is what led her more than 10 years ago to change her lifestyle, returning to sports and changing her diet, making the transition to vegetarianism and introducing the practice of yoga into their daily lives. Searching social media and the internet for dynamic and active yoga styles, she found Alessandra Oram, who during the pandemic did some online Navakaraṇa classes. Marta was lucky enough to do the last online class with Alessandra, and fell in love with Navakaraṇa practice, how it was guided, the sound, the tempo, the movements to enter and exit the postures, the mantra to mark the breath… It was the perfect and most complete practice she had ever known and practiced. With only a class and without knowing more, Marta decided to join the M1 in 2021 and M2 in 2022, training with Alessandra Oram in Barcelona at the Navakaraṇa academy, Mana yoga loft. In 2023, he completed the M3 with the creator of the method, Dario Calvaruso, also in Barcelona, a wonderful experience, and now, he is very excited and eager to finish the training of the four modules in 2024 and thus, finish completing the training by Navakaraṇa Vinyāsa. The practice of Navakaraṇa has changed, strengthened and transformed Marta body and mind in such a natural, fast and safe way; something you couldn’t achieve with any other sport or practice. Today her passion is to be able to share Navakaraṇa in her place of origin, TOLEDO, and let more people learn about Navakaraṇa practice and how they can benefit from this very special method.
