MARTA GÓMEZ JIMÉNEZ

Marta lives in Toledo, her profession focuses on the accounting and labor field, which she has been practicing for more than 19 years. Working in an office always involves bad posture, back pain and a sedentary lifestyle in many cases, and this is what led her about 10 years ago to change her lifestyle, changing her diet, making the transition to vegetarianism and introducing the practice of yoga.

Searching social media and the Internet for dynamic and active yoga styles, she found Alessandra Oram, who during the pandemic did some online Navakaraṇa classes, and Marta was lucky enough to do the last class, with Alessandra.

She fell in love with the practice, with how she guided herself, with the sound, with the tempo, with the movements to enter the postures, with the mantra to mark the breathing….

With only this class, and without knowing more, she decided to do the M1 in 2021 and the M2 in 2022, training with Alessandra in Barcelona.
In 2023 she completed the M3 with the creator of the method, Dario Calvaruso, with great enthusiasm and desire to finish the training of the four modules in 2024.

Now her passion is to be able to share Navakaraṇa in her place of origin, Toledo, and that people can learn about and benefit from this method, since Marta has noticed and felt how during this time that she has dedicated herself to the practice of Navakaraṇa, she has changed, strengthened and transformed his body and mind, something that he had not achieved with other sports or practices in such a natural, fast and safe way.
