Laura Borges Arbós

Laura is a full-time Navakaraṇa Vinyāsa teacher at Fuerteventura Yoga Shala, her own Navakaraṇa studio on the island of Fuerteventura, the first Navakaraṇa studio in the Canary Islands. Her purpose is that her students can have the opportunity to lead a healthier, more conscious life, connected with their body and with the nature that surrounds them.

In the year 2021, Laura found Navakaraṇa through Alessandra Oram. She followed her intuition, and that summer she left her job and signed up for Navakaraṇa Vinyāsa Hṛdayam Master Teacher Training Modules 1 and 2 with Dario Calvaruso in Barcelona & Madrid. From that moment she was totally in love and fascinated and that same year she opened a Navakaraṇa studio in Fuerteventura where she dedicated herself to exclusively teaching and sharing this method, being the first Navakaraṇa teacher on the islands. In 2022 she completed all 4 Modules of the curriculum (a total of 432 hours).

In april 2024, Laura joined Sākalya Tantra Master Teacher Training Module 1 at Navakaraṇa Kyorei in Yakushima, Japan, a 108 hours holistic therapy course and started offering Navakaraṇa Suizen at her studio.

The Navakaraṇa method’s precision, technique, rhythm, and the way it impacts the body and mind, motivates her to dedicate 100% of herself to practicing and teaching it.

Laura defines herself as an eternal apprentice and passionate teacher, her desire is to continue learning, expanding and sharing this transformative, powerful and magical method in every part of the world where she has the opportunity, starting with the Canary Islands, her native land.
