A brief on Teacher Training Curriculum
As Navakaraṇa practitioner and teacher you are free to personalised your course of study from “Level 1” to “Master”. Spend this two minutes before you register to a course and read this page in full. It wil clarify a lot about our method. Here below you find a brief on our curriculum’s structure and contents.
Navakaraṇa Teacher Training Courses
Navakaraṇa teacher training courses are meant to guide the students in leaning how to practice and teach the Navakaraṇa Krama Maṇḍala (a cyclic-collection of sequences and procedures) synergistically arrange to the lunar month (candramāsa). You will be able to create different formats of practice with hundreds different type of classes for all levels and all needs, while at sustaining firmly on one-system / one-methodology for both practice and teaching.
The Curriculum is divided in the following Teacher Training Courses:
The Essentials Workshop
There is no word to emphasis the imporatnce of these course. Only true this workhsop you can experience Navakaraṇa (bith in terms of practice, methodology and teaching skills) and know if you are ready to enter a Teacher Training Course. This workshop is mandatory to enter the Teacher Training Course. Pelase note that you may not accept in the Teacher Training Course even unless you have completed this workshop.
Entry-level : – The Essentials Wokkshop 12-hr
Navakaraṇa Vinyāsa Hṛdayam
Navakaraṇa Vinyāsa Hṛdayam focuses on the essentials for vinyāsa practice and teaching acquired through a collection of sequences called Hṛdayam Krama Mālā (A collection of essential sequences). The syllabus of Vinyāsa Hṛdayam TTC is divided in four modules:
Students who have completed “The Essentials Workshop” can enter Level 1 Teacher Training Courses (either starting with “Grounding & Opening” or “Power & Control”).
Level 1:
– Grounding & Opening 108-hr
– Power & Control 108-hr
Students who have completed “Level 1 Teacher Training Courses” can enter Level 2 (either starting with “Dynamism & Flexibility” or “Movement & Freedom”).
Level 2:
– Dynamism & Flexibility 108-hr
– Movement & Freedom 108-hr
Navakaraṇa Sākalya Tantra
Navakaraṇa Sākalya Tantra focuses on the practice and teaching of holistic principles (sākalya), personalised lifestyle (svasthavṛtta) and study of a collection of healing sequences and procedures (Bheṣaja Krama Mālā).
The syllabus of Sākalya Tantra TTC is divided in two modules:
Level “Holistic”
– Sākalya (holism) 108-hr
– Bheṣaja (therapy) 108-hr
Level 1 graduate who have completed Navakaraṇa Vinyāsa Hṛdayam “Grounding & Opening “and “Power & Control” can apply for this course. Graduate who have completed Sākalya can enter Bheṣaja (therapy).
Prakṛṣṭa
Prakṛṣṭa a subsidiary course to Navakaraṇa Vinyāsa Hṛdayam which prepares the trainees for the practice and teaching of advanced sequences named Prakṛṣṭa Krama Mālā (A collection of advanced sequences). This syllabus is generally personalised and taught one-to-one. who have completed “Level 2 graduates who have completed the Hṛdayam” can apply for this course individually. Navakaraṇa Śikṣā Paddhati
Navakaraṇa Śikṣā Paddhati or an in-depth course on Navakaraṇa methodology and teaching skills. The syllabus of Navakaraṇa Śikṣā Paddhati TTC is divided in two modules, partially in-person and partially remotely:
Level “Master”
– Methodology and Teaching Skills 108-hr
– Choreography 108-hr
Level 2 holistic graduates can enter Navakaraṇa Śikṣā Paddhati.
