Verena Macias Calandrini

Verena Macias encountered Navakaraṇa in Valencia in 2024 and immediately resonated with its rhythm, structure, and transformative depth. Moved by the method’s intelligence and aesthetic precision, she began her formal training in 2025 with Navakaraṇa Vinyāsa Hrdayam Alumnus Teacher Training Power & Control (Module 2) in Barcelona under the guidance of Alessandra Oram with examination by Dario Calvaruso, and subsequently completed Navakaraṇa Vinyāsa Hrdayam Master Teacher Training Grounding & Opening (Module) 1 with Dario in Bologna.

She received her first yoga training in 2003 and has been fully dedicated to teaching since 2015. That same time, she also began studying macrobiotics—an approach that deeply shaped her holistic vision of life. She has previously worked as a private chef and consultant in this field.

In 2025, her experience with Navakaraṇa marked a profound evolution—bringing renewed clarity, discipline, and coherence to her personal practice and teaching path.

Verena currently teaches full-time in Valencia, Spain, in several well-established studios. She is committed to sharing Navakaraṇa as a powerful method for physical refinement and inner transformation, with the vision of expanding it internationally through immersive retreats and workshops.

She is also the founder of The Experience Yoga, a project dedicated to creating immersive, sensorial, and transformative yoga experiences around the world, now also integrating the Navakaraṇa method.
