Nidia Díaz Valdés

Nidia Díaz’s journey into movement began with studying classical dance in Madrid, where she worked as a professional dancer until a hip injury slowed down her career. Faced with this challenge, she became interested in various movement therapies and decided to create her own studio in Asturias: Nidia Díaz Studio Zen, with the purpose of sharing this practice with her students and fully integrating it into her life.

In April 2021, she started her first training as a Navakaraṇa teacher, thanks to Alessandra Oram. From the very beginning, she was captivated by the dynamism, rhythm, and musicality of the method, experiencing a profound connection with her body like never before. In July of that same year, she was graduated by Dario Calvaruso and committed herself to both the method and her personal growth. She has completed all four modules of Navakaraṇa Vinyāsa Hṛdayam and Sākalya Tantra Module 1 and continues to pursue her studies with constant dedication.

She feels grateful to be able to keep learning from Dario Calvaruso and to share her growth with the students through weekly classes, workshops, retreats as well as Navakarṇa Tutoring and Mentoring Programness for Modules 1 and 2 students.
