Mónica Serrano

Mónica discovered Navakaraṇa at Ma·na in October 2021 when attending a workshop with Júlia Massagué. Although she was a full-time yoga teacher since 2016, she realised that Navakaraṇa was harder than any other vinyāsa style she had tried and is absolutely unique due to its tempo, chanting and music.

She was attending some other Navakaraṇa workshops and classes with Júlia and Alessandra to finally take the decision to enrol in The Essentials workshop in December 2023 to know more about the method with Grand Master Dario Calvaruso. In June 2024 she graduated the Alumnus Teacher Training Module 2 and Module 1 in February 2025, both with Alessandra and Dario.

Mónica loves to learn and has been overcoming challenges since 2016 when she decided to leave her 15-year-old job because it did not bring her happiness. She is also a Holistic Health Coach because nutrition, health and happiness are her interest.

In 2019 she opened her own studio BeYogi&Healthy with Mónica and she is offering Navakaraṇa classes there since June 2024.

Mónica has the purpose of spreading a healthy lifestyle to increase the number of people who live with more awareness, health, energy and happiness.
