Betty Battsetseg Bat-Erdene

Born and raised in Mongolia, Betty is currently a full time Yoga Instructor at Pure Yoga in Shanghai, applying the full Navakaraṇa method to all her classes and teachings. She started her practice in 2006 when she was in college in the United States. Upon returning home after graduation she continued her practice with her mother practicing kriyā yoga and meditation. She believes yoga has changed her perspective on life and makes her a better and more positive person. She travelled to India in 2014, in hopes of expanding her knowledge and practice and further completed her first teacher training program in Mongolia the same year. In 2015 she met Dario Calvaruso in Mongolia and her view of yoga and practice was forever transformed. In the summer of 2016 she completed Dario’s 108 hour Practical Teacher Training Programme on Navakaraṇa Vinyãsa in Mongolia where she translated all textbook materials and conducted oral translation for the students. Her practice was challenged in the best way possible under the guidance of Dario. The training changed her method and approach to teaching completely. She further went on to complete all 4 modules from 2018 through 2019 in Shanghai and Hong Kong. Betty has conducted The Essentials of Navakaraṇa Vinyāsa in Mongolia and Beijing, and continues to hold Navakaraṇa Krama Maṇḍala Morning Intensive Practice in Beijing and Shanghai.
