Bahareh Yousefian discovered Navakaraṇa in October 2025, when her music teacher, Hamed Habibpour, introduced her to Dario Calvaruso. Her first experience with the method occurred during a Navakaraṇa Suizen workshop in California, where she collaborated musically with Dario and Hamed. She was immediately drawn to the method’s deep integration of breath, rhythm, and sound, as well as Dario’s grounded and authentic presence.
In November 2025, Bahareh traveled to Essaouira, Morocco, where she graduated from The Essentials and Navakaraṇa Vinyāsa Hṛdayam Master Teacher Training Power & Control (Module 2) under Dario’s guidance. This training became a transformative and meaningful experience, strengthening her inner clarity, breath awareness, and sense of embodied discipline.
Navakaraṇa has brought a new layer of presence, strength, and connection into her life, naturally aligning with her background in music and her passion for mindful movement.
Bahareh teaches Yin and Restorative Yoga at Ra Yoga studios in California and intends to introduce Navakaraṇa to her community, knowing the powerful impact of its breath–music–movement synergy.
