Ariadna discovered Navakaraṇa Vinyāsa by chance in 2023 and since then she has dedicated her practice entirely to this method. She immediately felt a deep sense of belonging with Navakaraṇa, especially through the tempo, the chanting, and the mental presence she was able to cultivate during each practice. However, what fascinated her the most was the meticulous way in which each movement was constructed within the sequences, alongside the Ujjayi breathing. She had never felt such a strong connection and
awareness of her body until she came across Navakaraṇa.
Recognising the transformative power of Navakaraṇa—not only physically, but also in how it changed her approach to life—Ariadna decided to enrol into Navakaraṇa Vinyāsa Hṛdayam Alumnus Teacher Training Module 1 with Alessandra Oram in 2024. A few months before the training began, she started experiencing severe pain in her left hip due to an injury she had been carrying for years. Despite the physical discomfort, Ariadna embraced this condition and experienced firsthand the meaning of “personalised practice” by adapting her Navakaraṇa practice to her limitations.
Ariadna had to undergo hip surgery in January 2025, and during her recovery period has been continuously learning Navakaraṇa to deepen her knowledge of how to adapt not only her own practice but also to assist students with injuries or any other condition that requires a personalised approach for the practitioner. This has enhanced Ariadna’s teaching methodology, making her more creative in personalising Navakaraṇa practices and ensuring that the method remains accessible and safe for her students.
Eager to continue growing and evolving in her practice and learning, Ariadna completed Navakaraṇa Vinyāsa Hṛdayam Alumnus Teacher Training Module 2 with Alessandra Oram in June 2025, followed by Master Teacher Training Module 4 with Dario Calvaruso in June 2025.
Ariadna is forever grateful to all her teachers for their dedication in sharing their knowledge and guiding her with care and affection. Their support has inspired her to the extent of transforming her life. Ariadna’s goal is to fully integrate Navakaraṇa methodology and expand her knowledge, helping her students become more aware of their body and mind in order to experience a conscious, slow-paced lifestyle.
