Ethics and Regulations

OBJECTIVES
The purpose of a “learning and teaching regulation system” is to regulate and facilitate the process of learning and teaching while maintaining the standards within our community and optimise the functionality across different locations globally. Learning and Teaching regulations system are subject to change and its is the duty of every graduate to stay updated.
A global regulations system helps practitioners to understand clearly:
- the stages of learning process;
- the rights, roles and duties that Navakaraṇa teachers have at different stages.

Authorised Teacher (Certificate of graduation)
Navakaraṇa Authorised Teacher is a graduate who:
– has completed any of the Navakaraṇa Authorised Teacher Training;
– holds a duly stamped and signed Navakaraṇa ATC Certificate (white certificate);
– his/her name and profile is published on Authorised Teacher List at:
https://navakarana.com/authorised-teachers
Authorised Teachers are classified as:
Level 1, Level 1 Holistic, Level 2, Level 2 Holistic, Level 3
Teacher level is based according to their curriculum of study:

Navakaraṇa Authorised Teachers enjoying free licensing of Navakaraṇa IP and permission to use the Navakaraṇa Brand Name and Logo in following teaching setting and conditions:
- in persons classes (group classes and/or one-to-one) based on the series of the module in which they have graduated;
- Level 2 and above Graduated Teachers can teach online-private to other graduates ensuring:
- the teacher is updated with the latest curriculum;
- the teacher covers only the contents and curriculum the new graduates have completed in the training;
- the class is not recorded and/or shared in the internet;
Graduated Teachers are not entitled to teach Navakaraṇa series on social medias, online classes and events which are open to the vast public. Graduates can assist Faculty during in-person training and/or at the Navakaraṇa Virtual Academy.
Faculty
Faculty is a Level-2 or above Authorised Teacher who took the role leadership and “insidership” (being inside) in the Navakaraṇa Community. Effective leadership requires striking a balance between personal ambition and a genuine commitment to community-focused influence —one that prioritises collective harmony and shared objectives. Taking on such a role means setting aside individualistic career pursuits and embracing a responsibility centred on the wellbeing and growth of the community.
Faculties roles:
– online teacher and virtual creator,
– tutor, orientation, mentor, alumnus
within the Navakaraṇa Academy.
Mentor
Mentor is a Navakaraṇa Authorised Teacher Level 2 or above who:
– assists Master and/or Alumnus Teacher Training;
– mentor TTC participants during the training
– facilitate the Mentorship Programme

Alumnus is a Level 2 Teacher who has completed all 4 modules of Navakaraṇa Vinyāsa Hṛdayam with honour, created a Navakaraṇa studio and/or contribute substantially in growing Navakaraṇa Community. Alumni have proven full commitment in teaching, growing Navakaraṇa community over time and should be able to sustain effectively TTC yearly.
Certifications:
– 432-hour Certificate (white Certificate)
– Alumnus Certificate of Honour (red certificate – which is granted only from one’s master).
Alumnus is allowed to teach:
- Navakaraṇa series: in groups and one-to-one classes in physical setting including studio and other public environments such as conferences and festivals as far as these events are not live broadcasted, recorded, filmed online or shared on social medias;
- one-to-one private Navakaraṇa online classes only to graduated teachers (making sure that the class is not recorded and/or shared on the internet);
- apply for co-teaching Navakaraṇa Alumni TTC and become a faculty member of Virtual Academy.
Senior Alumnus
Senior Alumnus is a tutor of an Alumnus in deliverying Alumnus TTC programmes and the participate in the 3-day review and assignment.
Master (Certificate of honour)
Master is a faculty who have in-depth knowledge of Navakaraṇa methodology, works assiduously with full dedication harmoniously with other faculties for the welfare of Navakaraṇa community and method. He/she has at least a decade of teaching experience at international level and has choreographed at least 9 approved krama-s. Master should be outstanding also at personal level, habits and manners. The title of master is granted from one’s master (black certificate).
Faculty
Faculty is a mentor, alumnus, senior alumnus or master who has proven outstanding teaching skills and total dedication in teaching and for the Community.
Faculty:
– co-teaches and/or mentors students of a Teacher Training Programme;
– facilitates the Mentoring Programme (Virtual Accademy).
AUTHORISED NAVAKARAṆA TEACHERS
An authorised teacher is any graduate or above who has successfully completed a TTC and who is listed on www.navakarana.com. The list of Authorised Navakaraṇa Teachers is published on:
STUDIO REGULATIONS
Navakaraṇa studio
Navakaraṇa studio is a place exclusively dedicated to the practice and teaching of Navakaraṇa. Navakaraṇa studio may have one or more teachers such as graduates, alumni, and/or masters. Navakaraṇa studio is a transitory stage to the Navakaraṇa Academy.
Navakaraṇa Academy
After a minimum of three years of a successful management of a Navakaraṇa Studio, then management is entitled to request an institutional certificate from one’s Master. Navakaraṇa Academy certificate is granted only if the studio can offer the Navakaraṇa Krama Maṇḍala in full-form, TTC and workshops throughout the year. Professional and personal qualities of the applicant are also taken into consideration.
Navakaraṇa Virtual Academy
Navakaraṇa Virtual Academy is a virtual platform hosted at www.navakarana.com. Navakaraṇa Virtual Academy is a complementary tool to in-person trainings.
