Dario Calvaruso

Navakaraṇa Vinyāsa Prārthanā

नवकरण विन्यस प्रार्थना

Prārthanā literally means request, prayer, feeling the pain of accomplishing a desire. The Prārthanā is an invocation composed by Dario Calvaruso, forming part of the worship and reverence toward our teachers and the lineage. Through the theories, methodology, and practices of Navakaraṇa, we expand consciousness, set the path for self-directed transformation, and earn our livelihood as teachers. It is also a resolve we make before beginning our practice—a reminder of our personal goals that go beyond the physical, and a means of reinforcing our confidence in achieving them.

The Prārthanā is essentially divided into three parts:

– Expressing gratitude

– Setting our goals

– Establishing confidence in attaining the intended results
