Mariana Moura

Mariana, a Brazilian born in the Amazon, moved to Barcelona when she was 5 years old.

Her passion for dancing sparked her interest to deepen her study of movement. A creative soul, Mariana was interested in more than just art through dancing and applied herself academically to succeed in public communication, fashion and artistic direction.

Mariana left her marketing job at a large multinational in pursuit of her Navakaraṇa goals. Further expanding her knowledge, Mariana achieved a qualification in holistic healthy nutrition whilst dedicating her time to exploring the benefits of an alkaline vegan diet. Mariana graduated from Alumnus Module 1 and 2 with Alessandra Oram and Master Module 3 and Module 4 with Dario Calvaruso. Her four Navakaraṇa modules and obvious commitment and dedication are crucial in helping Mariana achieve her goal of expanding the community globally.

Mariana toyed with various yoga styles before finding her discipline. One day, in 2020, she practiced Navakaraṇa Vinyāsa for the first time in Ma.na Yoga Loft. Mariana was the first teacher to bring Navakarana to the United Kingdom and gave many students from other parts of the world their first experience of Dario’s method. Fast forward to present day where Mariana now teaches weekly in Barcelona alongside her mentor Alessandra Oram.
